How to create an account on Stripe for ExplaraX payment integration?

Follow the steps below to set up your Stripe account and start accepting payments:

  1. Go to the Stripe website
  2. Click on “Start Now” or “Sign Up”
    • Enter your email address, full name, country, and create a password.
    • Click Create Account.
    • Or, Sign up with Google
  3. Verify your email
    • Check your inbox for a verification email from Stripe.
    • Click the link to confirm your email address.
  4. Activate your account
    • Log in and click Activate your account.
    • Provide the required details:
      • Business information (name, type, industry)
      • Personal details (for identity verification)
      • Bank account information (to receive payouts)
      • Business website or product description
  5. Set up two-step authentication
    • For security, Stripe requires you to enable 2FA (via SMS or authenticator app).
  6. Submit and verify
    • Once all details are submitted, Stripe will review and verify your account.
    • Verification usually takes a few minutes to a couple of days.
  7. Start accepting payments
    • After approval, your account is active, and you can integrate it with platforms to collect payments.
